Assessment was created by Carol
Hi, I took my wife for her assessment on Monday, only to find it was cancelled, I re-booked for Wednesday at 2pm. The whole assessment took one and a half hours, by this time my wife was very distressed.
1. The Asser had my wife in tears several times
2. Five times she referred to my wife as "Margaret" as she reminded her of her auntie.
My wife was really ill by the time we arrived at home, has anyone eles had long stressful assessment

Welcome to the forum, you might want to have a look at the following FAQ which explain where everything is

Welcome to Benefits and Work

Whilst most assessments are about an hour they can be longer.

You don't say what benefit this was for?

If PIP Then you should be able to requests copy of the assessment report by contacting the DWP office dealing with your wife's claim. If ESA then you will have to wait until the Decision in made, in either case a Decision should be about 3-5 weeks.
