Clifford wrote: Hi a month ago I had a pip review face to face assessment and now awaiting my decision. I requested and have now received a copy of my face to face consultation with the nurse. The descriptors she has give would award me 14 points daily living and 8 points mobility. My question is will the Dwp assessor who reviews their descriptors usually give the same amount of points. TIA
Decision Makers usually follow the recommendation of the assessor.
If ity has been a month from the assessment then I would expect you to hear in the next couple of weeks.

Clifford wrote: Hi Gordon. If an assessor recommends 8 points mobility and the decision maker agrees ( I have never had the mobility component before) would I receive back pay from when the review took place. I obviously still receive the daily living component part.
Thanks
If the reassessment was initiated by the DWP then I would not expect there to be any backdating, the Decision will apply from the date that it is made.
