Just had the PIP appt. Too tired to lift up arms (the first task) and lady said that she shouldn't leave me worse off than when she came in. So she suggested I didn't do the physical assessment. I went with it. I could have done it and it would have made me worse.
How does this impact my chances of getting benefits? Worried they have less info, worried that I was manipulated and it might leave me worse off (in terms of getting benefits) not to have done the physical. I have ME/CFS. What do you think?
Providing it was accepted that you could not perform the activity because doing so would cause you unreasonable physical or mental distress then it should not be a problem.
