Been given a home asssessment visit for PIP

After saying I hadn't heard anything after filling in the PIP form, I had a letter to say I am to have a home visit (I suffer from agoraphobia, I didn't ask for a home assessment but they must have considered it necessary for me). I have the very useful PIP guide (July 2018) that I downloaded which helped me to fill in the form, but is there anything else I should read and any other way to prepare? I don't have anyone to be with me, my landlord will be working upstairs but can't participate. Will not having someone with me in my home when being questioned go against me? And do they look around the house? Thank you

The guide you have already downloaded contains sections on the assessment and the questions that you are likely to be asked.

Thank you. I thought that the guide would be what I need. But would not having someone with me when questioned go against me? (I suffer from anxiety as well as agoraphobia) and do they look around your home?

Not unless you also suffer from conditions such as Social Anxiety.

No they don't look around your home unless you show them ( I took my assessor to see my bathroom set up ). I had my mum with me for support.
