Just had my PIP Assessment at home.

Yes I really should have had the copy of my form to hand. I didn't need it with the lady last year so I stupidly thought this would be another 2hr process, which it wasn't.

I also phoned DWP on Wednesday asking about the report again. Despite Capita telling me on the 8th that they can see it received and logged on the DWP system on 6th August, DWP claim they didn't receive the report til 13th August. They guy on the phone had to re-request a copy of the report for me as no-one had actually sent one out.

He told me it will be up to another 2 weeks for the report and another 5-6 weeks for the decision.

My life feels like it's on hold now. And I still don't have a good feeling about this. The more time goes on, the more I feel he will have taken this all out of context.

hi all when I phoned for my assessment report the lady said she would print it off right there and then. she said she was going to ger it from the printer and put the call on hold while doing so. She then came back on the line and said she'didn't put it in the post pile to be sent out overnight. I received it 3 days later. Hope this helps.

Last year I got my report within the week and had my decision 2 weeks after the assessment.

I am just in a panic because I don't think the assessment went very well.

I have no report as yet. That is becoming a long, drawn out process. I don't expect to hear much before the end of September to be honest.

I sent in the letter from my partner so I hope that helps. I'm sure you understand, I am just so unsure it will go my way and my life is on hold. I need to get a Blue Badge now I have moved but don't want to jinx anything by sending off for one before I know.

I phoned today to check on my report status and if they had received my further evidence. Yes the evidence was on file. Nobody has sent out a report. The person of the phone said he would print it out today and put it in the post.

Current status of decision is 6 -8 weeks, possibly longer because of backlog. Just thought that would be of interest to members.
