copy of pip assessment , was created by alison
its been nearly 3 weeks now since i had my assessment with capita ,, ,,i rang the dwp a week after the date of assesment for a copy off the assesment ,, was told it would be sentout to me ,, nothing arrived so rang again ,on monday morn ,was told ide recieve it within 2 days ,,still no sign of it so rang again this morn this 4rth time now ive had to ring ,and was told it not been sent out becausea decision hasnt been made yet and the dm may want to look at it again before sending it out ,,so i asked has the law changed then ,because the previous time i requested a copy there was no trouble like ime having now tryng to get it ,,she stutterd and asked me question again ,,so i said is it only after the dm makes a decision that you send them out now ??she said yes ,,because they need to refer back to the notes whilst making a desision ,,i said ime requesting a COPY of it not the actual report .surely you can copy it and post out not rocket science is it ,,so my question is .are they deliberatly holding back from sending out the copies ,,or has dwp law changed that they dont send them until after a desision been made ,, four times ive rang mow and still being stalled ,basicaly she told me not until a desision been made will i recieve it ,,

We are not aware of any legal reason why the DWP cannot issue the report after the assessment and before the Decision is made and most members on the UK mainland have actually had no problem with doing so. I wonder if some of the PIP phone line staff used to work on ESA, where the DWP has taken a policy decision not to release the report early.

Hi Gordon
Has my assessment on Monday.
I had a text message on Tuesday to say that the report had been received.
I rang and asked for a copy and was told it would be 3 weeks before
I would receive it as it had to be checked before it was released.
How long should it take to receive it.
