Pip reconsideration

My sons claims been sent to a specialist team apparently called platform 16. Does anyone know what this is?

I was told by the dwp pip helpline who said 3 days ago my claim was sent to a specialist team He mentioned platform 16 and said it was for reconsideration. The who claims been a nightmare with a desicion made for no help but it didn’t mention a large amount of evidence I sent in after the atos interview. So a case manager contacted the original decision maker who told him they didn’t use it all. He called me back and left me a voicemail telling me that they hadn’t used all the evidence and would scrap the original decision and make a new one. Then a week later I called to find that they now say they did use all the evidence in the original decision so it would now have to goto reconsideration
