ESA50 04/17 form help was created by karlgixer
Hello All.
I am half way through filling in my ESA50 04/17 form.
now i need a bit of help or advice please.
There are parts in this form that are not covered in the members only esa guide.
Its to do with, Part 2, Mental, cognitive and intellectual capabilities continued
12.Awareness of hazards or danger
13.Starting and finishing tasks
14.Coping with changes
15.Going out
16.Coping with social situations
17.Behaving appropriately
Now i know these questions are in the mental health part of the form BUT some of the above questions can also apply to the physical aspects to.
Any advice please.
Thanks Karl.

Nothing on this board constitutes legal advice - always consult a professional about specific problems

Karl
ESA separates the cause of the claimant's problems into physical ones and mental health ones.
You cannot score points for a problem in the physical section (1-10) if the underlying cause is a mental health condition and you cannot score in the mental health section (11-17) if the underlying cause is a physical one.

If you have the time then I would complete the mental health section, you never know, you might get lucky but I would not rely on your scoring.
