Was aked to attend F2F PIP assessment twice? was created by KevinJ
I attended a face to face PIP assessment on 10/8/18. Today I received an identical letter saying I had to attend a F2F assessment on 28/8/18? The letter didn't explain that this was a second assessment. I assumed this was an admin error and called the service centre. I was left on hold for a while. The guy came back and said it wasn't an error despite already attending an assessment. He said the DWP didn't have enough information from the first assessment. Is this right? Can I be forced to attend a second assessment within a month? It's stressful enough attending these assessments. Can anyone help me?

I'm afraid your claim cannot progress until the Assessment Provider has been able to make a recommendation to the DWP about an award.
What I would do is make a complaint to the AP as this should not have happened.

Thanks Gordon. For what it's worth I'll make a complaint to ATOS. It was their mistake and I'm really uneasy about attending yet another assessment.
