ESA Sister moving in with me was created by Mabel2015
Following her marriage breakdown, my sister will shortly be moving in with me permanently, I receive IR ESA, no PIP. She receives PIP and a small private pension. I know that I will lose my Council tax benefit.

Is it best to inform the ESA by phone and then follow up with a letter? It shouldn’t affect my ESA claim but I don’t want any problems in the future with her moving in so want to make them aware of the situation.

Thanks

She won't be counted as part of your household as you won't be receiving any Premiums that are dependant on your living circumstances, so I can't see any reason why your ESA would be affected.

It's probably worth your contacting them to avoid confusion over your living arrangements.
