ESA due for renewal Oct 2018 was created by pamela
Good Evening I have rung the DWP twice a few weeks apart to ask when I should get my renewal ESA to complete,the 1st time was told Aug 2018 and the 2nd time Nov 2018. Any advise on when I should expect one could it be due to a backlog. I really don't know.Thanks.

There are considerable delays in the ESA assessment process at the moment but there is no official statement on this from the DWP, whether you will be reassessed in November, I'm afraid you will have to wait and see.

Thank you Gordon,just one other point do the DWP write to you nearing the return date they supply with the ESA claim form, ie in case the original was never delivered I ask because not long ago a trolley of post was stolen on this street I have also known post to be delivered to wrong adresses here.Thanks.

Yes, it's a legal requirement that a reminder letter is issued three weeks after the ESA50 is issued.
