I requested a MR just over approx 2 weeks ago after scoring just 2 points for daily living activities. (Was on DLA for years - high rate care and mobility.)
I had a decision after my pip assessment on 18th July. I scored just 2 points. I was told they would continue to pay DLA for 4 weeks meaning it finished on 14th August. Just checked my bank and I have a small PIP payment that went in today!?.
I had my last DLA payment so can only presume this payment is because they have reconsidered using further evidence but have no idea what I’ve been granted. How is PIP paid? Do you think this is a payment following reconsideration?
you will have to contact the DWP on Monday, a payment labelled PIP implies an award, however, PIP is paid four-weekly in arrears so it seems early for a payment to have been made.
