I've moved your post to it's own topic, we ask members not to post their questions in other's topics as it can lead to the wrong advice being given or taken.

If the review was initiated by the DWP as opposed to you notifying them from of a Change of Circumstances then any Decision will apply from the date that it is made, I would not expect there to be any backdating even if the award is increased.

gordon ,
it was a review of current reward which ends in feb 2019 , as they review you a year before now dont they ,, i recieved the review form in feb this year ,, health assessment was on the 20th july , ive still not been able to recieve a copy of the assesment report after ringing seveal times ,and still not recieved a decision from dwp ,, keep getting told no decision made yet and cant send copy of report as they may need to refer back to it whilst deciding , what i was wondering is ,,do you think because it is a review of a exsisting claim they tend to not put them as a priority and deal with new claims first i wonder? ,as ive read a few people have been waiting quite a few months before getting a decision from their reviews of exsisting awards, ,

I'm not aware of any prioritisation of new claims over existing ones, this would be a DWP policy issue and therefore not one that is required to be public, the process is not significantly different so there are no logistical reasons for it to happen.
