Universal credit was created by Karen
Need some advice .was on ESA support group ,separated from husband ,.ESA said thye sent out letters they didn't ,they cancelled ESA.i. Went for mandatory reconsideration ,then appeal ,in the meantime was up n UC.
Got back with husband ,won ESA appeal ,mail was going to wing address ,said they would send me for a medical ,not happened.
UC now saying as back together and he's working not entitled to any money as it's in me based .If I was still on ESA I would still get money on my own right .feel like back to 1940's . No money of my own

Welcome to the forum, you might want to have a look at the following FAQ which explains where everything is

Welcome to Benefits and Work

Was your ESA claim for Income Related ESA or Contribution Based ESA?

If the former, then the same would have happened to your ESA if your husband is working for 24 or more hours a week if the latter then your ESA(CB) should have been reinstated.

Hi Gordon,
Originally it was contribution based ,but think they changed it to in me based after a while .
They suggested after I won the ESA appeal earlier this year that I would have to go for a medical ,but not seeng much point now as if that is income based ESA and I fly through the medical by some miracle ,I wn't get it as back with husband and he works full time .
Is that correct ?

Sounds like if husband is working 24 hours or more each week than I'm not entitled to anything of my own .
I paid national insurance contributions etc for years ,feel bit cheated .

If you were entitled to Contribution Based and you claim has been continuous then you remain entitled to ESA(CB).

You say that you were in the Support Group, if there has been no Decision removing you from the SG then your ESA(CB) should be payable, even if your husband is working fullt-time.
