Hi Paul, yes I've already 'used' the recording to some degree. I've said things like 'as is clearly audible on the recording' when needed to back up my argument against the assessor.

The thing is, the DWP won't be able to check this as they haven't got the tape.

So for now: it's whether they believe me or the assessment report, but surely this has to increase my chances along with a well structured report from my GP and other new evidence.

Does anyone know if they use old data from previous assessments if need be. It's just that my previous assessment to this one stated that my condition is degenerative and unlikely to improve?

Surely this is evidence in itself.
