As I am still waiting for my decision after 9 weeks, I thought I would phone and see what’s happening. I was put through to a case worker who confirmed that my case was in a case workers queue and had been since 9th September so should be looked at in the next week or so. He looked at my details and what the assessor had said and then asked me when my problems had deteriorated - I said last year and I know I should have contacted them to ask for a review myself but didn’t! He then said that the case worker may (and I repeat may) agree to back date claims on reviews, so mine would possible be backdated until 15th March. He said that was certainly possible if the review shows a marked deterioration (and mine does) So who knows but I may get a nice surprise! (Or I may not!)Anyway not long to wait now and everyone I spoke to was lovely so it’s worth a call if you are waiting and getting stressed as I felt much better afterwards, and it’s a free phone number so I didn’t mind the wait
