I have finally been given some antidepressants that seem to have lifted my modd, so I am going to try and get back into work, but I am still going to come on here, because I like all the people on here, I might even try some of the training courses on benefits, as its such a complex issue, so I wish you all the best x

Good luck with the work. I find it very encouraging when I read about people getting well enough to go back to work.

think I spoke too soon, back to ground zero again, had a round the clock job hunting campaign going on, which didnt take me long to burn myself out, I think I even considered trying to become an MP... gp has recommended I give up the job hunting til I have seen my psyciatric consultant, and suggested if I really think it would make me feel better to try and get involved in a little voluntary work........all very well if you can afford to live on £64.30 a week ?? and even having to fight for that in an appeal.......funny thing is I went to see 3 different advisers who were specialised in helping people who are ill get back into work, yet not one of them told me about work trial...in work credit or anything......or even did a better off calculation with me. So although the government is pumping money into these advisory services, it seems none of the advisers know what they are doing....Grrrrrrrrr.........
