TOPIC: Moderators not online.

Hi All,

Just to let members know that two of our moderators who are benefits advisers are once again in hospital.Pete was admitted yesterday and Jim my husband was admitted today.

This means that the only qualified benefits adviser online for the next week or so will be Crazydiamond, assuming he's feeling not too bad himself.

Steve Donnison may be around depending upon his current commitments, but as I don't like driving in the dark alone, I'm staying in Lancaster until Jim is ready to be discharged. There is internet access where I'm staying but I cannot promise I'll be able to answer queries, my husband's health comes first.

Please therefore be patient if you post a query and have to wait a while for a reply.

Hello Members,

Just to update you on a lack of experienced moderators with benefits advice training who are unable to post at the moment.

As you're aware Pete & Jim are both in hospital, and for personal reasons Crazydiamond will also not be around very much until next week.

This means that Steve Donnison, the site owner is the only experienced moderator, and he too may have other commitments due to training etc.

Therefore, it is inevitable that there may be delays in clearing posts for moderation, and certainly will be delays in answering queries on benefits and appeals.

I can only ask that you be patient in waiting for a reply.

At times like these, you may find it of help to use the 'forum search' facility as often similar questions have been asked before.

If not, you should contact your local CAB, or seek advice from Community Legal Advice

www.youreable.com also has a benefits advice forum, although it is not as comprehensive as Benefits & Work is under normal circumstances.
