When I went I told the woman I'm not looking for work because I'm too ill so I was only in there for about ten minutes. She let me go because there was nothing she could advise me on.
I told her I just lost my job on health grounds and that I had applied for ill health retirement.

Hi,

When ESA was devised, the idea was that you would have your medical before you were sent for a Pathways interview. However, Atos are now so far behind with medicals that some people have had all six Pathways interviews before their medical.

It makes no sense, but it's what's happening.

Hiya all , i'm not sure if it's the same for ESA , but after the initial JCP WFI, i managed to get all my WFI's deferred for 6 months to enable me to get to grips with being ill so to speak . This was when i first claimed IB , and it was September last year so i just missed ESA , until i get "Transited" over.
