TOPIC: ESA Points System

In my experience it does to a certain extent if the DWP DM bothers reading your IB50 form, but unfortunately they seem to ignore everything other than what the ATOS doctor writes after you have your medical!!!

Hi Gareth,

There is some overlap between some of the questions in the questionnaire and some of the support group descriptors, so your evidence in the questionnaire should be taken into account.

In theory, Atos doctors are supposed to be able to identify people who are eligible for the support group at a very early stage in the process.

In practice, it's a mess.

Thanks Steve, I think you last sentiment says it all with respect to the manner in which ESA is currently operating.
