TOPIC: Pathways to work a joke

Pathways to work a joke 7 years 5 months ago #13497

ork I recently attended my second interview with A4e at Liskeard Cornwall, I took with me the report from work focused assessment as I wanted to challenge a couple of points. The interviewer told me that she didn't know why they sent the report to them as they never read them. Luckily for me she was sympathetic to my case and and put down as my six week goal that I was to focus on managing my mobility and pain levels, and offered help with filling in my DLA form.
I'm not going to be lulled into a false sense of security and will keep my wits about me for the next few interviews

My Personal Advisor also had not read the report from the work focused medical. However I found it remarkable that she and the others in the team are helping ESA claimants to fill in the appeal forms, also providing the leaflet and forms for them. She is horrified at the tales that people are telling her and how some, obviously extremely poorly people, get zero points and then are placed in the support group.
