Hi everybody,

Im having my esa medical this thursday and im wondering if anybody knows how long it takes to find out the result ? I realise atos pass information on to the decision maker at the DWP who then make the decision Anybody with any idea how long this takes ?

Hi Davuck,
I am not sure if it depends on area or just luck of the draw. I had mine end of June, beginning of July and I am still waiting for decision.

I had my medical beginning of July and had the decision sent to me exactly a week later. Everywhere seems to be different so I don't think there is a 'set' time on this. Sorry I can't be more help. Hope it goes well for you

I had mine on 27 July and a determination on 12 August, but it does seem to vary area to area.

had my medical on monday 23 august and i passed it
got word on friday 27 telling me i had passed so it only took them 3 days but iam sure everybodys are not the same, nobody should have to go through the worry and distress of these inhuman tests i wish you the best of luck and hope it turns out alright for you. ;)
