IB - 3 year work focused interview was created by sevenof9
Hi

Im in receipt of IB and have just attended a work focused interveiew - triggered I think as it is three years since my original claim. It was all very amicable and the advisor even talked to me about claiming DLA, she talked about my last job, my medication, what I thought of going back to work - and then suddenly it was over. I was expecting to have to complete a so called Action Plan, but there was no mention of it. Everything I have read about WFI's says that an action plan is mandatory. Should I be concerned? Any views anyone? BTW I sent in my renewal IB50 in April and still have not had any reply from them!

Thanks in advance for any comments re WFI.

I said that I didnt feel able at the moment but that I had not given up hope on eventually returning to work - she then told me about voluntary, permitted and part time etc and really that was when the interview ended to my surprise.

I had a very similar WFI a couple of weeks ago and was asked about voluntary work. I struggle to go out to the corner shop, let alone interact with people for a prolonged amount of time. Mine was triggered by 3 years since last claim and I've not been sent an IB50 yet. Back onto the waiting game I'm afraid.
