Online calculator/form to see if you can get ESA??

Hi there

I was looking on a website a few weeks ago where I found a form to see if you're entitled to or can get ESA but now I can't find it anywhere!

It was like the tax credits ones but for ESA only. It had lots of pages with questions for you to tick boxes and at the end it told you how many points you 'scored'

If anyone knows what I mean could you please post the link or something?

Thanks ever so much

xxxxx

Take a look on the right hand side of our home page. We do a free ESA self-test. Of course, it's important to understand that it's only a guide, but it will take you through the descriptors for ESA.

But it's not a form you can print off.

If you look in the Help for Claimants section, there's a detailed guide to ESA, which you can print off, and which explains all the descriptors, but that may be more than you want for this.

Hi,

It does sound like our ESA test you're talking about. After you've been through the pages 'ticking the boxes' it calculates your score and displays it, with a list of the descriptors you chose on a page you can print off if you wish. You can, in addition, choose to have your results emailed to you.

I've noticed that when they ask how many children you have, the drop-down box goes all the way up to 20.

This is of course necessary, as benefit claimants can be expected to have up to as many as 20 children, but there would have been no harm in letting you type in how many children you have, thus hiding the limit.
