Esa appeal what to put on GL24 form? was created by wingedwarrior
Hello all,

I have been put into the WRAG and I want to appeal this for the support group. When filling in the GL24 form do i still need to put that I want to claim ESA while I go through the appeal process?

Will I need to start sending in sick notes again as I have stopped sending them in because I am in the WRAG.
Thanks

If you wish to appeal this decision then you should seek professional advice from your local CAB or Welfare Rights, as doing so can result in a full re-evaluation of your claim, and can result in the loss of the benefits you are already receiving.

In order to qualify for the Support Group, you must be able to demonstrate that you meet one or more of the criteria, these are listed on page 25 of the Understanding ESA doucument in the Members area.

Your appeal must be lodged within four weeks of the decision. As you are appealing to be put in the Support Group your WRAG status is unaffected, nor will you need to supply Fit notes.

Hope this explains everything.
