Letter from Tribunal after successful appeal

I had my DLA appeal hearing last week, and was delighted to receive a successful outcome. Thanks to all here for the advice and information on this site. My question relates to a letter I received today from Tribunals Service, saying that they've had a request for a copy of the Record of Proceedings for my hearing. It doesn't say who requested it, and I'm a little concerned that if it was the DWP, then could this mean that they may be considering an appeal against the Tribunal's decision? This request may be simply standard practice, but I can't help feelng unsure. There was a representative from the DWP at my hearing, and she indicated that they wouldn't be appealing. Am I worrying about nothing?

It's unusual for the DWP to appeal, but it does happen sometimes. Why not ask the Tribunals Service who requested the record?

As far as I know only a party to the proceedings can request a record of proceedings or statement of reasons. In other words, if it wasn't you it must have been the DWP.

However in order to appeal they would have to apply for a statement of reasons. At least for now I think you can take comfort in the fact that the Presenting Officer verbally said that they would not be appealing. Hopefully they are just requesting the record of proceedings for their records.

Thanks for that, you've helped to set my mind at rest. It's taken so long to get here, I really don't think I could cope with another appeal!
