NEW TO WRAG was created by Kazza
I have just been informed by letter that I am to be moved from the support group to the WRAG group. I assume this is following my medical with ATOS last week. What happens in the WRAG group? And do I now need to do anything about my national insurance contributions?

Being moved from the support group to the WRAG should make no difference to your national insurance credits.

The WRAG is rather what it sounds like, you can be required to engage in work-related activity. At its simplest, this will involve a series of interviews to discuss how you might get back to work, but it can involve more.

There is more information about this in the guide to ESA in the Help for Claimants section.

Have you taken advise and seen someone to talk about the fact you have been moved out of the support group ? do you think it was the right place for you to be ?

Do you feel as your getting better and long term might be able to get back to work ? Have you told your DR ?

I am at the stage where I no longer know what way is up. I had a stroke, have very limited mobility and still have problems with emotionalism (apparently 1/10 are left with this) and can burst into tears if someone looks at me sideways. I will never be able to do my job again but I don't know if I can do other stuff.
