Requested Info in Writing! was created by RachelPotter
Hi, as some of you know, I rang DWP three times last week to ask about my arrears and my current ESA payment that had been stopped.

I requested they put the information in writing as I don't like receiving calls.

I have just received two separate letters...

1) We will pay ESA(IR) arrears into the account shown below....

2) We will pay ESA(IR) into the account shown below...

That tells me a lot!!!

No other information at all! I suppose it is better than nothing!

Best wishes,
Rachel

I'd call them for you if I could :) you're going to have to get that friend around to help you.

Thanks Gordon you're lovely :)

I'm hoping she'll be up in the morning.

Can't believe the DWP wasted 2 A4 sheets, two envelopes and 2xpostage for the scant information received!

Hi Rachel

I can't believe that they are messing you about like this. Surely they know how difficult things are for you as they will be well aware of your disability. I can understand where Gordon is coming from i wish there was something i could do to help you with this. So much for saving money sending 2 letters that said absoloutly nothing. I feel so angry for you  is there any wonder people give up and end up not claiming what they should be getting.

Just a thought, would it be worth writing to them enclosing a copy of both letters they have sent you and send it to the complaints department, perhaps you may get somewhere with them as they will have to look into it then as its official!!

I don't think i could be as patient as you are with them, you are a very special person. Please let us know how you get on!!

Big hugs
Mm :) xx

This is just not very nice of them! I know how you feel, I had a battle with them for a few months and I nearly gave up. Dont lovey!
You are a wonderfully empathetic person who deserves better. Wish I could help.

sounds like (fingers crossed) they have done a computer run to pay you BUT the printer failed to print out all the letter

check your bank account and see if money turns up
