Working is not working out for me

I have now been back on ESA since 12th April, I am only getting basic rate, have filled in ESA50 and am awaiting the call from Atos for medical; I did try to fight the DWP about putting me back into the WRAG but it would seem that because I took a job my re-claim within the 12 week period is classed as a new claim, and therefore will have to wait until I've had my medical before I can get back into a group.
My CAB advisor spoke to DWP on my behalf, he then phoned me and asked if he could use my case as a warning to anyone else trying to work and not coping, he will be advising them that they also will have to go through the whole process again.
Moral of this story..don't even try to work unless you're sure it will work for you, otherwise 13 weeks of worry/headache all over again.

It seems like the only benefit of the ESA 12 week linking rule is making a claim within six months of being classed Fit for Work.

Looking at other forums there appear to dozens of similar cases.

I was in a similar position and reclaimed under the 12 week rule, they would not put me back on to the WRAG until my medical, however once i 'passed ' my medical put in to support group they back paid to initial date of claim and assessed the income related add ons from the beginning of the claim and back dated those, which means my Mortgage Income Supplement has kicked in etc So there is some light at the end of the tunnel
