I was finally given ESA in the work group in December and back dated to March 2010 and now have been send another medical question which seems to be identical to the first one. Nothing much has changed to me in the last time so is it ok to just copy most of the information from my last form although i did fail on that and won at a tribunal. As my problems dont relly fit in the form am i likely to again have to go through a medical and a tribunal again as this made me very stressed and therefore made my conditions much worse and i am already starting to do more shaking more as i am worrying again about this. Thanks

There are only a few circumstances where you can avoid the ESA medical, as you didn't last time, I think it unlikely that you will this time.

As to filling in the ESA50, the first thing you need to do is find out which version of the form you have received, there should be a date at the bottom of the first page.

If the date is 03/11, as I expect it to be, then you have received the new ESA50 with questions for the new ESA medical. Whilst some of the questions look substantially the same, many have changed and even for those that haven't, the underlying tests have.

The bottom line is that you need to think about re-mapping your disabilities to the tests. We have a new Guide for the Physical tests in the Members area and expect to have one for the Mental tests published this week.

As things have changed, you should consider getting face to face advice, to help you complete the form.

Thanks Gordon will check the form as my neice has it at the moment as she is helping me to fill it in. Does it make any difference in that i now have been awarded DLA low care and middle mobility indefinately. Should i put this in the form. I have a report about my brain disorder and intend to include a copy of this but doubt they will read it and am also going to see ym doctor on monday to see if he can name my shaking as its causing me loads of problems but i don't have a name for it.

There is no reason why you shouldn't, but there are only a few areas where there is a direct correlation between DLA and ESA, walking being the obvious one, so the value can be limited.
