Hello Denni
thanks for replying to me. I have faced my appeal today which I found very gruelling and lasted around 50 mins. My hearing was arranged for 4pm which they brought forward by 30mins, however by the time we had finished, the judge(or whatever they are called) decided that they would not be able to give me my decision there and then as they wished to discuss things between themselves ??? they did say that the decision would be put in the post today so i'm nervously waiting until that arrives.
Im stressed beyond belief ! my depression is winning the battle and im losing the will to go through this again should the decision be unfavourable. I was at the appeal supposedly for them to decide if I should be entitled to a higher rate of care ( I already have high rate mobility and low rate care) they started off by saying that all my awards would be looked at as a whole and not just the low care component, so naturally im nervous...what if they take away what ive already been awarded.
Im guessing that I should receive their decision by Thursday, its going to be a nailbiting wait...I'l let u know the outcome.
