Been asked if a child on DLA can do work experiance/voluntary work ? :)

Are you concerned about whether doing unpaid work is allowed on DLA? It is allowed. In fact there are some "supported volunteering" schemes for people who need a bit of extra support to be able to volunteer.

Are you concerned whether doing upaid work will be used as evidence that the child shouldn't get ESA in the future? No idea!

Has someone said the child is a health & safety/insurance risk because of their impairment and refused them work experience? I'd complain!

nope dont think the child will be going for esa even though on dla I think they think it will be off to uni (supported) just was asked if anyone has had any experiance of this subject
