Hi
It is guesswork and so many stories have naturally been about. One interesting thing I did learn however and whether it is relevant or not, who knows??????
I had occasion to talk to Incap back in February and I asked when my transfer was likely to take place, my last review having been in Winter 2009 on which I attended a medical. The girl told me that one thing she had began to see on lots of IB records on the screen was a nominal date issued of 2019! Makes no sense I know but thats what she said. I have had regular checks so deduce from that what you will, I have no clue.

2019 makes sense each office given a date to set records to, someone goes in and set records to that date and then its easier to bang them all off

Righty Ho, I will ask my a friend who is an EO at the DWP about this, dont tend to discuss benefits related issues with them normally as its like talking shop to them, but on this one, I think I will.
The only thing that makes me slightly unsure of this theory is when I asked her if all long term IB claimants were set to this date? and she replied no.
Thanks anyway

Yes Dave
You could be right, this is causing the biggest upset for folks in a long time. If like me you will be one of those who basically will recieve nothing after a year, it is even more of a worry. I doubt I would get into the support group even though my illness fails to be controlled by therapies. Maybe I am being pessimistic as is my want but at least I am being realistic. Its a shame that there is no transparency, although they also seem to lack a clear programme from what we have heard.
I used to be in the civil service but I cannot apply any working rules to present policies as they really are no longer the same.
Maybe somebody could collate the experiences of those transfered and look at revue dates?
