Dla Medical was created by Anne
Good Morning to everyone, I have just had a doctor round to see me about my dla claim. I had a good experience with my esa medical so wasn,t really worried but I should have been. The doctor arrived about 10 mins early and he wasn,t english so it was difficult to tell what he was asking. My son was off college so he was here to open the door and also sit with me. At first the doctor seemed ok he shock my hand and explained what he would do and was very chatty. He started by asking me questions about my day but was suggesting the answers before I had time to speak. He asked how long it took me to walk 10 metres then said 1 or 2 mins without me having chance to give my own answer. He then went on to examine me which was the biggest examination I have had. He did the usual tests like squeeze his fingers and bend your head forward and to the side. He then asked me to lie on the settee and he asked me to do all sorts of movements with my legs, he then asked me to take my socks off and roll
up my pants so he could look at my knees. He did an eye test, listened to my chest and felt my spine. He got a little abrupt when I said I couldn,t do some things he asked and I could tell he didn,t belive me. I was quite positive before he came but I am down again now as I am sure he thought I was making my symptoms worse. Has anyone gone through a medical like this and what was the outcome. I am thiking his report won,t be in my favour but I will have to wait and see.
