GL24 LOST IN POST

i sent my GL24 by recorede delivery on june 20th,royal mail have confirmed it was delivered to Warbreck House on june 21st 2011.
I have phoned them three times to ask for confirmation of receipt of my GL24,today i was told it has not been received and submit another one,i am concerned my date for registering the appeal has now passed.
anyone know if the second GL24 i send in will be acknowledged as my appeal submission?

I would recommend you send a brief letter with the GL24 explaining that the first GL24 was not received, together with a photocopy of the Royal Mail receipt.

As long as you have proof that it was sent on time you should be OK.

It is not abnormal'for Warbreck and Atos to 'lose' even recorded deliveries.

The DWP sign for recorded delivery items in large bundles. They may claim that they signed for the bundle and that your letter was not in it, but as far as I can see by signing for the letter they have officially acknowledged receipt of it.
