Hi fedupn45

Thanks for replying. I edited out the number because I don't know what it means either. I just thought it may have had a code that points to a standard letter.

I hope the person from JCP who phones you tomorrow gives you the thorough explanation and apology that you deserve for the trauma caused.

Regards

Derek

What a surprise - no phone call and therefore no explanation or apology. I have been told by my Doctor that I am not well enough to deal with any of this at the moment, and he is very concerned and disgusted at the way I have been treated. My Mum has phoned them up and give them a right roasting! (not to be messed with) They have asked for my permission for my Mum to deal with things further for me, and my Mum has wrote to Parliament in utter disgust at the system!! Go Mum - bless her, she had to fight for everything for my Dad who had Alzheimers for 12 years, and here she is again fighting the "system" yet again for her daughter.

Hi fedupn45

I think you or your mum should write to the Customer Services Manager at your JCP Benefit Delivery Centre to demand an apology for the distress caused and a full explanation for the letter. It's preferable to get an acknowledgement that the letter was sent in error, in writing.

You could also inform them that you will be sending a copy of the letter to your MP to complain about the way you have been treated. As mentioned earlier in this thread, get help from CAB or local welfare rights office if possible to help with your appeal.

Good luck

Derek

Hi All,

As I've already stated in a previous reply, we cannot give urgent advice as we are not a 24/7 welfare rights service.

Also, we now have a moderator in hospital for heart surgery, and two other moderators offline for a week as from tomorrow, due to a house move.

Therefore, I am locking this thread.

Jim
