If you reach State Retirement Age before 6/4/2014 then you will not be transferred, if it is after that date, then our understanding is you will have to be transferred.

The legislation specifically states

who reaches pensionable age at any time before 6th April 2014

So unless your case is delayed for any reason, you should expect to be transferred.

There is no leeway with regard to the date, as I said in my previous post, the legislation which was enacted to allow the transfer specifically states 06/04/14.

Given that your IB review was supposed to be this month, I think you should expect to be transfered. We have updated guides in the Members area, including one that is specifically for IB claimants, that explain the process and the ESA tests you will need to pass.
