I have an appt to access my notes 16th Aug and 18th Aug I have another appt to see my GP and then face to face I will ask him for another letter as I was not happy with what he wrote just saying my conditions which are Spondyliosis of my neck and back, Deppression and under the Gynaecologist for Endometrial Carcinoma. And in view of these conditions I was not fit for employment. No mention of how all this affects my daily life.

Although not many people would agree, Atos believe that GP's are not fit to judge a patient's fitness for work because they are trained to diagnose and help improve a patients health. Atos are the real experts.

For this reason I think it is important for a GP to not merely state his opinion on fitness for work but describe how the patients conditions affect his or her daily life, preferably in relation to the descriptors.

there might be some truth in that :) research in many countries and govenments too coment on the relation ship between dr and patient ... that said the relation ship between atos and the dwp is so wrong too

as important as what you say "but describe how the patients conditions affect his or her daily life, preferably in relation to the descriptors"

is the prognosis thats why i asked if they had stage on letter
