DLA for Twins with Asthma was created by shrimp
hi all

my 4 1/2 yr old sons have both got asthma, they have both been to A&E at least 15 times each in past 18 months and one was kept in for 3 days one time, usually put on nebuliser and there upto 10 hours each time or kept in overnight/next day
my parnter has to do their meds for them ie 2 different inhalers each day, tablet in evening and when breathing bad steriod tabs - i myself have fibromyalgia and have pretty useless hands so he does most stuff for me also - i know how hard it is to get dla for myself but should i apply for my sons? when they go down its happens fast and its quick dash to hospital and usually seen straight away then they have to be carried, dressed etc
thanks and sorry for life history !!

From what you have said, it may well be worthwhile making DLA claims for your sons?

Obviously, it would not be possible to speculate on the outcome, but you have nothing to lose and everything to gain by submitting the claims.

Nothing on this board constitutes legal advice - always consult a professional about specific problems
