I haven't a clue why claimants get letters stating what their benefit will be until December 2010/2011 but the letter does not actually say that your benefit will either change or that you will be reassessed at this date.

The letters are administrative; I don't think it has anything to do with a review date and ESA rates only change around April.

So in conclusion, If Nada wants an accurate indicator of her expected review date, she needs to request copy of her ESA85a.

Maybe her ESA65 as well?.

So am I reading you correctly?, does the OP need to request her ESA85a to find out her prognosis, which would be an indicator of her expected review date?.

Rather than taking the date on her letter, as her expected review date?.

If the OP were to request the ESA85, the date on the form should be in line with the date given on the letter, at least it was always the case with IB85s.

Having said this however, the word 'should' is the operative word and if I were in the position of the OP, I would send for the ESA85 anyway as was always my custom with IB85s.

My letter doesn't mention a review date - it just says, under the amount I will receive per week, "the amounts on this page apply from August 16 to November 28 2011.

So perhaps this doesn't mean I will be reviewed in November. How can I find out what my review date is?

Wouldn't it be an ESA85a rather than an ESA85, as no face to face assessment took place.

I gained that info from Derek !!!, he does have some uses !!! LOL.

As far as I am aware, the ESA85A is only used where the support group descriptors (may) apply.
