Help! Has my ESA50 form been delivered too late? was created by s.jmoore@blueyonder.co.uk
My ESA50 was meant to be in by the 29/7/11 (today) and I sent it by registered guaranteed next day delivery to ATOS as well as a copy to the DWP.

Today I checked online When they had turned up, only to see to my horror that the copy to the DWP had got there on the 28th, but the one to ATOS had only turned up at 7am this morning. Does this mean I've blown it and my claim will be closed?

I'm really worried about all this as you can imagine. :(

no. you should be ok.

phone them up to see if they have it. if they say no, tell them the proof of postage code and tell them when they got it

Well I've looked at the letter that came with my ESA50 and it says "return it to us as soon as you can, but no later then 29th July 2011" and going by the post office website It was delivered to ATOS at 06.45 this morning, so I imagine that I'm in the clear?

If it arrived today then you have nothing to worry about.

Best wishes,
Rachel :)

Huzzah! Because as I said going by the tracking number it said it was delivered first thing this morning.

*phew* thank god for that. I was utterly terrified there for a moment.

Everyone should try and get their papers to ATOS at least two days before the deadline as ATOS send it first to a royal mail opening service before it gets back to them and your letter could be delayed.
