TOPIC: I.B. medical

I.B. medical 6 years 2 months ago #63657

hi, my husband was supost to have another medical in april after being found unfit for work 5 years ago but they have not yet sent for him, does anyone know if this is because of a backlog due to the new harsher test or am i hoping against hopes that they have forgotten him. they don't usually leave it this late and i'm getting worried. thank you. :woohoo:

They won't have fogotten about him :)

There are various factors that could affect the date when he is actually going to be transferred, there really is no way of knowing the exact date, other than asking the DWP, which might not be the best strategy.

My best advice is for him to get ready to be transferred, by reading the new ESA guides in the Members area and thinking about how his disabilities relate to the tests, and to not worry until it happens.
