sorry to be a pest... got the forms to fill in this morning and one of the questions is 'what disability benefits are you on from DWP' being a lot foggy but does this just mean DLA or also IB/ESA? If so I'd best do and win my appeal for being put in WRAG first eh? still so confused about that... me and a lot of other ppl reading the posts on here. Truly awful :(
so thanks for the tip off about my RAF pension... even if I can't [should tho :) ]get it early I now know I will still get it at 60 and don't have to wait till 65 or older.
cheers and Thanks

I applied and got my Air Force Pension before War Pension just looked at my form as I have copy of all paperwork I was getting DLA mobility and all of my IB at the time and told them so.

I never found out why they ask as Stardard Air force pension is paid even in sickness cases regardless of benefits paid, the only thing I can think of is the fact if you get the pension its taxable

a couple of weeks ago it would have been easy as I was on indefinate IB and indefinate High mobility Low care... but now They've transfered me to ESA WRAG... not so easy as that makes it look as if I will be able to return to work which despite all my stubborn pig headedness is never going to happen :(
I agree with the tax thingy but best wait till I get my esa put right before I send the form back :(
no I will not get down... this is still good news :)
cheers Dave

they included a form for me to sign giving them full access to my medical records It then says all this info will be sent to the medical advisor in london. The letter says... ah.. apologises saying at the moment it is taking up to 2 months for the decision to get back to the claiment. I thought 2 months wasn't bad LOL
I'll write what you've said on my 'info sheet' for my GP
Can't get to see him till next friday and I have to write everything down so I can hand it to him [my brain shuts down and have trouble saying hello by the time I get in to see him so he reads my info sheet then does his thing... saves so much time and means I actualy see him about what I went to see him about. he reads it while so many specialists didn't but thats a whole other moan]
thanks Dave

The DWP and MOD dont have free access to each others documents, the MOD know what they want and how they need to see it for legal reasons.

After you send paperwork back they will write to GP if they get what they want they will start pension if not they will ask your consultant amd ask for more infomation

if they get it they start pension

in my case they still did not get info so they telephoned and told them what was needed

the medical department dealing with your request is not based at innsworth or the new place in scotland but are ex forces medical officers at whitehall some wing commander :silly:
