I don't know if this helps at all but regarding the blue badge, I had applied for mine from the LA as a discretional application rather than the automatic hr mobility entitlement because at that time I had not been awarded dla. my blue badge was granted and awarded for three years, I down loaded the forms from the county council website and returned it with all relevant medical info. Good luck with your appeal
best wishes

Thanks hassled mum. That is very useful to know.

I will ring them up tomorrow to ask what they would like me to do. I do fit the criteria they've listed on their webpage for a BB without HRM, they just require a visit to their medical centre for a test (luckily ATOS do not seem to do the medicals as far as I can see, but it will just be my luck that the doctor I saw does these tests as a sideline!!).

Just hope this time I will actually be seen properly walking for the test this time, and not just doing 5 wobbly paces on carpet holding on to furniture, told to stop as Im clearly in pain, and then write a report which takes away my HRM
