DLA stopped.

DLA stopped. was created by jacqueline snooks
with reference to my posts regarding DLA,i requested many times a typed transcript of my ATOS medical report becuae the written one was illegible.it finally arrived yesterday after 3 months.
I was very upset and distressed to read what i consider to be a report that did not take into account anything i said.e.g i was asked was my diabetes under control,i replied no it isnt i am resistant to insulin and cannot get my bm down from being in the 20.s.The hcp wrote my diabtes is under control with a bm of 12.
anyway to cut a very long saga short i telepohned the DLA unit,spoke to a very nice lady,and today received a telephone call from them asking if i wish to make a complaint about the medical report.
It was expalined to me during the call that by doing so my tribunal may be delayed.
Anyone else had anything similiar happen?

By making a complaint about the ATOS "doctor" you are also casting doubts on the validity of the actual medical.
As a result, it is possible, but not certain, that the Tribunal will want to wait until there is a result to your complaint, to avoid making a Decision using evidence that is subsequently called into question.
It used to be that the timescale for a Tribunal was less than that for a complaint, but in the najority of cases, it is now the other way around.

further to the phone call i received yesterday i also reveived a letter today(dated13th sept)informing me the DLA UNIT has looked again at my claim and written to my G.P for further evidence.
dont know if i should be pleased or not ??
