transfer to ESA was created by anne
My IB review was due on March 15. I have heard nothing. I am on long term IB *& understood that such claimants were the first to be migrated to ESA.
Is this length of delay unusual, or am I asking how long is a piece of string?

My review was due a year ago and I've heard nothing - and my husband's (he gets NI Contributions only, due to pension income) was due about 18 months ago! We are both in our late fifties though, so I wonder if we older ones are being left til last. No one seems to know what order the transfers are being done in.

Sorry Ivyleaf, but us older ones are just as likely to be summoned for assessments.
Husband was 61 when the dreaded form arrived. Me, 59, waiting anxiously.
We both have long term illness, after years of full time work.
Good luck, follow the advice on this website when it happens, hopefully not too soon.

While there has been no change to the DWPs original transfer policy, it is already clear after five months, that there are far many more nuances to the process than originally disclosed, so I am afraid it really is a piece of string of indeterminate length :)
