Response time from ESA50 to reply

The title is basically it as far as the question goes -

Does anyone know the average time from sending off completed ESA50, as part of the migration from IB, to Atos giving a reply (of any sort)?

Or is it simply how long is a piece of string.

My form has gone to the Atos Croyden office.

It's simply how long is a piece of string.

It will vary significantly depending on the course of action they decide to take. They could for example, advise on a decision or call you up for a medical straight away, or they may decide to seek further information from your GP or other HCP.

I'm afraid you have answered your own question.

No definitive answer here.

Earlier in the year people were hearing back within 7 to 10 days.

More recently we have been hearing of people not hearing after 4 or 5 weeks.

I thought it would be variable,like most people just dont like the waiting...

hi we waited nearly a month.then a letter arrived saying my husband has been put in a wrag.he had no medical.we are appealing for a support group.dont think they even bother looking at his evidence.if they had he would be in support group.jackie
