Welfare reform bill - does this mean no hope?

is this thing for esa affecting income related esa or all esa claims? i have only just read this.

Totally agree...
My husband is working and on minimum wage also..seems that working can sometimes make you worse off, if he gave it up we would probably be better off financially, but not emotionally as he enjoys it.

Last night I watched the first two hours of the Lord's Committee on the Welfare Reform Bill

A good discussion on Universal Credit and how it will affect the poorest, imparticularly parents of children with disabilities. And why there should be ammendments to the bill

Then a few words from Lord Freud...and the ammendments just get withdrawn!

Why??

because the nations finances are in a poor state and with no clear vision of a return to prosperity, the notion that the lib dems are with the tories is so unnatural it means there is a big crisis. up to a
million public sewctor jobs are going, benefits claimants wont get preferential treatment, hard changes to the system maY develop further
i beleive the country is being primed to lower expectations because only with lowered wages will business have a chance against foreign competition. i beleive welfare reform will pass virtually untouched
i too watched some of the debate and wont bother any more, its a waste of my energy, beteer off readind steves guides and become an expert on what still applies

I agree with what you say and will put more efforts into reading the guides and less into watching people failing to make a difference!!
