IB to ESA question 1 moving around and using steps

Hello. Ive just started the daunting task of completing the ESA50 form and have a query about the first question. My problems are mental health issues not physical, however due to my agoraphobia and panic attacks, if I can manage to get out of the house I do very often have to stop and hold onto something. Would this be relevant to the first question of moving before you have to stop?
Any help would be greatly appreciated, I know you are all very busy.

Hi BM,

Have you looked at our ESA Guides accessible from this link. :

www.benefitsandwork.co.uk/help-for-claimants/esa

They really are helpful in filling out the ESA50.

There is a guide for physical health issues, and another for mental health issues.

If after reading them you still have any questions please come back to the forum.

cheers

Thankyou for your reply bro.
I have looked at the link, thankyou, but it seems to be more about physical health rather than mental health. I think I may write it down anyway as it seems relevant to me.
Thanks for all the help this site has given me. Id be lost without it.

For you to score points for the Physical tests, you must show an underlying physical problem.

Specifically with regard to the Mobillise tests, they are all of the form

mobilise more than x meters on level ground without stopping in order to avoid significant discomfort or exhaustion

so without any other physical limitation, you would need to show that you are restricted due to "significant discomfort" or "exhaustion".
