Hi,

In the members area please see our guide entitled:

Employment and Support Allowance Appeals

accessible from this page:

www.benefitsandwork.co.uk/help-for-claimants/esa

which explains the process involved.

Hi Pete
I have that but was looking for some pointers from you
as well if possible... we do have a lack of evidence which not all of it will come to the appeal as we are waiting for report. Can we postpone the appeal at all?

You can request an adjournment by contacting the Tribunal Service in writing and explaining your reasons, however, they are not obliged to grant your request.

You also need to be aware that there does not appear to be any prioritisation of adjourned appeals, and it seems you will simply be put at the back of the queue again, so there could be a considerable delay before your case could be heard again.
